In less than 1 week, I will be working from home. I have surprised myself in the fact that I truly have mixed emotions about it now that things are set in stone. All in all, I do know that it will good for pita to have her mom around the house more.
We pitched our new tent in the backyard and went "camping" on Friday night to see how Pita liked being in the great outdoors. We don't have an air mattress so Pocket and I were quite uncomfortable, tossing and turning on sprinkler heads and rocks. Pita on the other hand slept on her diaper changing pad (with a clean cover of course) and as far as I could tell had a great nights sleep. The minute she was carried into the tent, her eyes lit up.
The rest of the weekend was filled with yardwork, a family birthday party for grams, and the Indy 500. Jim took this picture of the 3 of us at Red Butte yesterday.
