(typing w/ 1 hand while baby squirms in the other)
we are settling in and finding our routines. Pita Pocket wakes up every 2-3 hours at night so needless to say, i'm tired...all the time. but i'm sort of on auto pilot and by the end of the day, i can't figure out where the time went. i thought i might get bored staying home all day, but not the case. at least not yet.
i have been watching lots of tv while i spend hours nursing, and i watched the entire Band of Brothers series and LOVED it, if you haven't seen it, add it to your netflix. you won't be disappointed.
when Pita was 8 days old, HP and I got the flu/food poisoning that was so awful that we couldn't even make it to the potty (wait, did i say potty?) before the contents of our stomach spewed forth. it was ugly. i became super dehydrated and my milk disappeared for a day but we worked with Pita's doctor and to my chagrin, gave her a bottle of formula the day i was so sick. we are fine now and she never got sick.
sorry for the rambling. it's hard to multitask and type with one hand! a more coherent post will come soon!
