My dear, dear friends Diane and Kylee hosted a baby shower for me last weekend and it was everything I could have dreamed for. I had requested no playing of baby shower games, that people could ::gasp:: drink alcohol if they wanted, and to have it be a low key atmosphere. it was classy and exactly what I wanted. They served mimosas for those that were without child (which just so happened to be everybody but me), and other yummy goodies and there was a great turnout. it was so much fun to have lots of friends from different social circles all in the same room getting to know each other.I had such a lovely time and we received lots of adorable baby gifts. This little one is going to be STLYIN'!
We are starting to feel a little more prepared for Baby Hot Pocket's arrival and can't believe that she will be coming in less than 8 weeks.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was nice to meet folks from all facets of your life. Baby showers can be so lame and this one was decidedly unlame. :)
