Today is our 4 year wedding anniversary and I can't help but think that we are on the edge of something totally new with our relationship. In just a couple short months we will be bringing into our lives a brand new member of the family and I know how scary this is to the both of us. Will we be good parents? Will we be able to afford all the things we want to give her? Will we be able to care for a teeny tiny baby?
This past year together has been a good one and I think we really hit our stride. We have had a lot of opportunities this year to work as a team, lift each other up, and to be there for one another. We traveled, dealt with health issues, and laughed...constantly.
You are already an amazing friend, partner, and husband that being an awesome daddy is going to come very easily to you. And those things that we aren't good at at first (changing diapers, late night feedings, trimming fingernails on teeny tiny fingers) will soon become second nature because we have always tried and never given up.
There is no one else I rather have on my team and I'm so excited for another year together.
