Luna is going grey. Her mouth and chin have been steadily turning more silver but I noticed yesterday that her eyebrows (wait, do dogs have eyebrows?) are starting to turn grey too. When we got her from the Humane Society 4 years ago they thought she was 6 months old but she seemed much older than that without much puppy in her.
If we don't go to bed by9:30 or 10:00 she will quietly excuse herself from the living room, jump up on our bed and stretch out so that when we DO get ready for bed, there is no place for us to lay down. And when we turn on the light to get dressed for bed, she often gives us a stern look like "you know better than to go to bed at 11:00 pm on a school night! Shame on you!"
I have also noticed that she has been more prone to snoring at night. Between Hot Pocket, Luna, and my black cat Ernie snoring, I am thinking about starting my own medical supplies company where I will specialize in selling CPAP machines for all creatures great and small.
