BabyMod Crib

Has my aversion to baby stores gotten any better the further along I get in my pregnancy? Yes and no. I'm now finding myself drawn to the little socks and shoes and baby dresses and tights. HOWEVER, I still find that 90% of the baby furniture and room decor is still absolutely deplorable. Well I should pull back a little and say, yes I can appreciate some of the baby furniture out there but it's just not my style. If I could have found an awesome modern bright green or red crib, I would have snatched it up without so much as looking at the price tag. But unfortunately, 'round these parts you have to settle for traditional wood furniture for the most part. I have eyed a few modern cribs online, and by modern I mean clean lines no frilly woodwork, and found a few that were perfect but came in a hefty $2,000+ price tag.

So what's a girl to do? I jumped on the Internet and found this excellent crib that was cheap (comparatively speaking) and was everything I was looking for. And where did I find it? Walmart.com. seriously. I don't like to go to Walmart and traipse up and down the aisle with the hordes of other people. But shopping online? it's the only way to go! And what's Walmart doing selling a totally mod and awesome crib? I was amazed by their BabyMod collection. So we ordered it Saturday night and it was available for pick up by Wednesday. Hot Pock put it all together and it's beautiful. we still don't have a mattress or bedding but seriously, our baby room is already kickass.
