So today i laced up my roller skates and went to the Xanadu roller rink with my friend, Diane. it was such a throw back to the old junior high years. I was not that great on my skates but it started to come back to me a little about an hour and half into it. Diane on the other hand was an Olivia Newton-John roller-goddess. i couldn't believe how awesome she is on roller skates!
Diane has talked me in to trying out for the Salt Lake Derby Girls tomorrow. i just saw the list of "basic skills" that they will drill us on, and i about crapped my pants. but...the yes binge continues. The ass kicking will begin tomorrow morning at 10:30 am. stay tuned.
