Apologies and Sneaker Waves

My apologies to all 3 of you that read this blog. I have literally not had a bright or half-way witty thought since i finished school and i didn't want to bore my limited audience any more than i might have already. But i do apologize for not keeping up and expressing every detail of my post-graduate life. In fact, life has been a little boring. One might think that now that i'm officially a graduate that i fill my extra time with book clubs, operas, and extensive volunteering, but nay. Most nights i'm so exhausted that I just sit on the couch and watch endless amounts of reality tv. If it's any consolation that i haven't been updating this blog, I received a 4.0 GPA this semester and my brain has just shut down for a little bit.

The Hot Pocket and myself are taking 10 days off starting 8/25 and we are taking a road trip out to our favorite beach house on the Oregon Coast. Last time we flew but we wanted the freedom of having our own car so that we weren't going to be slammed with the price of a car rental. instead, we will just be bludgeoned by the gas prices. bah! It should be pretty nice. we went back in December of last year for a week and it was so nice and relaxing. This time we literally have NOTHING planned when we get there except for the occasional vineyard and wine tasting event. The tide pools should be spectacular and the raspberries and marionberries ripe, and the whales should begin moving south for the winter. hopefully it will be as spectacular as it always is. That being said, here are some pictures of our last trip out there. if you've never been, book a trip immediately. let me know if you need travel ideas. If i could move out there, i would in a heart beat!
