Last week in my Children in Health Care class, we put on a carnival for kids aged baby to teenagers. The class was broken up into groups and my team chose to make hats out of paper grocery bags which we affectionately titled "Crazy Bag Hats". The kids loved it! we had all sorts of fun things like glitter and feathers to adorn their creations and our area was hoppin' the entire time. Of course to advertise our booth, each group member had to create their own hat. This was mine and i had to wear it all day last Saturday. ALL DAY.

This afternoon I was cleaning out my car and i went to throw away the hat but paused. With all the school work that i need to complete this weekend, perhaps i need to maintain some humor. That is why i have dubbed my hat as my "Thinking Cap." Yes people, i am currently wearing this hat while i write this and i feel smarter and smarter with every passing minute.

The hot pocket is in the other room shaking his head at me. I think eventually we will come to a place in our marriage when nothing i do will be met with a quizzical looks from him. But until then, I need to keep upping the weirdness ante.

But i don't like the word 'weird'. i see myself more as 'fun'. you may see me as, 'special'. it's all just a game of semantics.
